Lundi 29 septembre a débuté frais et nuageux le matin. Le soleil brillait par 15 heures. Phil a commencé à peindre la nouvelle porte de la cuisine. J’ai fini mes devoirs pour la classe de français demain et lavé une charge de linge. Le lundi est toujours un jour très calme ici, car la plupart des magasins dans le coin de nous sommes fermés. Plusieurs restaurants sont fermés pour les vacances les deux prochaines semaines avant une très occupé saison Route du Rhum autour du 24 Octobre au 3 Novembre.  Sur notre promenade dans l’après-midi, nous avons vu quelques-uns des voiliers de Saint-Malo à quai dans le bassin qui participera à la Route du Rhum.

Monday September 29 started off cool and cloudy in the morning.  The sun was shining brightly by 3 pm.  Phil started painting the new door to the kitchen.  I finished my homework for French class tomorrow and washed a load of laundry.  Monday is always a very quiet day here since most of the shops around the corner from us are closed. Several restaurants are closed for vacation the next two weeks prior to a very busy Route du Rhum season around the 24th of October to November 3rd. On our walk in the afternoon we saw some of the sailboats from St. Malo docked in the basin that will be participating in the Route du Rhum.
