Lundi 21 Juillet n’était pas un lundi normal. Je pouvais voir qu’il était saison touristique quand j’ai magasiné au Carrefour intra-muros. L’ascenseur ne marchait pas, les personnes âgées marchaient très lentement dans l’escalier. Ils étaient sur le côté droit de l’escalier et le milieu. Un touriste était sur le côté gauche de l’escalier avec leur enfant âgé d’un an, laissant l’enfant de descendre les escaliers sur leur propre. Ainsi, l’escalier était bondé et je ne pouvais pas se déplacer tout le peuple. Shoppers qui tentaient de monter les escaliers après avoir terminé leurs achats étaient très malheureux plaint au touriste. Le magasin était bondé et 3 de notre des 4 voies de caisse était ouverte. Ils avaient chacun 5 ou 6 personnes qui attendent en ligne pour vérifier. C’est après 11 heures et je sais que c’est mieux de faire des emplettes première chose le matin. Avant de manger le petit déjeuner est le meilleur moment de tous. J’espère que je me souviens de mon propre conseil!
Monday July 21 was not a normal Monday. I could see it was tourist season when I shopped at the intramural Carrefour. The elevator was not working so the elderly people were walking very slowly on the stairs. They were on the right side of the staircase and the middle. A tourist was on the left side of the stairway with their one year old child, letting the child go down the stairs on their own. So, the stairway was crowded and I could not get around any of the people. Shoppers that were trying to go up the stairs after completing their shopping were very unhappy and complaining to the tourist. The store was very crowded and 3 of the 4 checkout lanes were open. They each had 5 or 6 people waiting in line to check out. It was after 11 am and I know that it’s better to shop first thing in the morning. Before eating breakfast is the best time of all. Hope I remember my own advise!
