Lundi 28 Juillet a été le premier jour de notre tutorat français. Nous avons passé deux heures intensives avec notre tuteur avant de magasiner à le Supermarché Leclerc. Le magasin a été

très serré! Cela m’a rappelé des achats aux Etats-Unis le lendemain de Thanksgiving. Il avait tellement de monde que nous ne pouvions pas pousser le chariot / chariot dans les allées. Phil a attendu près de l’allée des aliments surgelés avec le panier pendant que je serrais entre acheteurs et articles choisi. Ensuite, je les portais dans mes bras à votre panier. Il doit avoir été entassés en raison du temps nuageux, frais et pluvieux. Les touristes ne peuvent pas profiter de la plage, donc ils sont venus. Tant pis pour nous!

Monday July 28 was the first day of our French tutoring.  We spent two intensive hours with our tutor before shopping at E. Leclerc supermarket. The store was very crowded!  It reminded me of shopping in the USA the day after Thanksgiving.  It was so crowded we could not push the cart/chariot down the aisles.  Phil waited near the frozen food aisle  with the cart while I squeezed between shoppers and chose items.  Then I carried them in my arms to the cart.  It must have been crowded due to the cloudy, cool and rainy weather.  The tourists could not enjoy the beach so they shopped.  Too bad for us!

Dimanche 27 Juillet est un jour merveilleux. Un peu nuageux et un peu de soleil à la température d’environ 73 F ou 22 C. Nous rentrons tout juste d’avoir dimanche soir avec nos amis à l’étage et leurs cousins​​. Phil eu petite Saint-Jacques pour une entrée et j’ai eu une salade verte (laitue fanée) avec des tomates et bacon. Pour le plat principal Phil eu agneau et j’ai eu la dinde. Le dessert était “tarte tatin” pour Phil et pomme tarte pour moi. C’était un délicieux dîner et a pris plus de deux heures. Un dîner typique dimanche! Nous n’aurons pas besoin de manger autre chose le reste de la journée pour vous!

Sunday July 27 is a wonderful day.  A little cloudy and a little sunny with the temperature about 73 F or 22 C.  We just returned from having Sunday dinner with our upstairs friends and their cousins.  Phil had petite St. Jacques for a starter and I had green salad (wilted lettuce) with tomatoes and bacon.  For our main course Phil had lamb and I had turkey.  Dessert was “tarte tatin” for Phil and apple tarte for me.  It was a delicious dinner and took over two hours.  A typical Sunday dinner!! We won’t need to eat anything else the rest of the day for sure!!!
