Jeudi Juillet 31st C’était notre deuxième jour de classe de français. Encore une fois, il a été intense. Nous sommes à reconnaître et à voir le modèle pour 14 verbes. C’est un assez grand nombre pour un débutant comme moi. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à la gare pour acheter de nouvelles cartes d’autobus pour le mois d’Août.

Thursday July 31st was our second day of French class.  Again it was intensive.  We are to recognize and see the pattern for 14 verbs.  That is quite a few for a beginner like me. We stopped at the train station to purchase new bus passes for the month of August.

camion de pompiers – fire truck

Mardi 29 Juillet a été l’intra-muros toutes les ventes de garage de jour à Saint-Malo. Les rues étaient tellement emballés que quand un camion de pompiers a conduit dans la rue (pas 14778441305_e49a312acf_kd’urgence) les vendeurs ont dû baisser leurs tentes et parasols et les acheteurs ont dû rester à proximité des magasins. Le temps était parfait pour le shopping et il y avait beaucoup de bonnes affaires disponibles. Nous avons acheté un DVD pour un euro.

Tuesday July 29 was the Intramural all day garage sales in Saint-Malo.  The streets were so packed that when a fire truck drove down the street (not an emergency) the vendors had to lower their tents and umbrellas and the shoppers had to stay close to the stores.  The weather was perfect for shopping and there were many bargains available.  We bought one DVD for one euro.
