A very short blog post so you can view the parade.
Sandy and I took a little trip to the Paramé section of Saint-Malo last Sunday, July 7. We watched the 2019 Folklores du Monde parade. It was quite nice. Most of the groups from outside of France had only a couple of musical instruments as they are mainly dance groups. The French groups from around Brittany have a very Celtic theme and are marching bands. Many bagpipes, drums and small pipes.

Thanks for sharing your video !! Love the bagpipes and know they take a lot of breath. Costumes beautiful and sharing their proud culture with you. Gorilla funny with cigar and making a seat !! Love the wooden toys and the children so cute !! I’m back home. Hot here but not the humidity as in DC.

Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know there was a “piping” tradition in France. Of course with the history of English involvement in the region I guess it makes sense.
