Sunday May 29 is fête des mères (mother’s day) in France.
Sandy’s foot felt much better today. Since it was mostly sunny this morning she spent quite a bit of time on the balcony enjoying the weather.
Around 13:00 we decided to try going for a walk. Sandy’s foot was still swollen but she was able to wear a pair of sandals. We walked to the Place du Marché aux Légumes and watched people and feed the little birds with left over bread. We took a few pictures of the place from our nice comfy bench.

Phil dropped off the recycling and garbage at the “poubelle” center. He then visited the boulangerie and bought a baguette for lunch/dinner.
By the time we headed home Sandy’s foot had swollen so the straps from her sandals had made imprints on her foot.
Around 4 pm we ate “lunch/dinner” of pork chops, tiny boiled potatoes with carrots and salad. Very tasty!
