Saturday May 28, 2016 we woke up to gray, cloudy skies.  The weather channel said it was foggy but we didn’t see any from our windows.

Sandy had a better night last night and most of the swelling was gone from her ankle.  She had more hope about being able to leave the apartment and walk outside in the next day or so.

Phil walked to the post office to mail a package, stopped at the pharmacy, went to the tabac to purchase a greeting card and stopped at Maison du Pain boulangerie for a baguette and tart for Sandy.

We made a recipe of chili to keep in the freezer for another day.

Jean our upstairs neighbor stopped by to see how Sandy’s foot was doing.

The rest of the day was very quiet.
