Tuesday May 17 was tutoring day. That will take up most of the morning and the start of the afternoon.
The streets were much quieter this morning when Sandy shopped at the boulangerie for our breakfast. The 3 day Pentecost holiday weekend was over and the tourists had returned to work.
We spent our two hours with Christine and returned to our apartment. After lunch we took the garbage, recycling and glass to the “poubelle” center then walked out to the harbor.
It had been cloudy and overcast with a 50% chance of rain in the morning. In the afternoon the sun was shining and it felt warm. We watched one Corsaire Ferry dock next to another Corsaire Ferry. The passengers had to walk from one ferry through the other before they could disembark. Apparently there wasn’t enough water in the harbor for them to parallel dock. All of this was happening about 3 hours before high tide.

There was a new attraction in the harbor. Last year the authorities allowed a company to set up a jet-ski rental concession. The jet-skis were not in the harbor until today. Our hope for the jet-skis is that someone will rent them and head out of the harbor and not return.

While sitting by the harbor a gull came by to visit.
