Saturday May 14 starts off cloudy and cool. At least there was no rain in the forecast today.

We stopped at the Intra-Muros butcher for veal paupiettes, crab croquettes, cordon bleu, and ham for sandwiches. One of the butcher assistants was cutting a side of meat as big as he.

Sandy noticed a butchered duck in the meat counter. It still had it’s head attached and also it’s webbed feet.  Luckily she did not take a picture.

Our next stop was the wine shop Cave de l’Abbaye Saint-Jean. We saw Natalie’s father outside and stopped to visit with him for a few minutes. Then we purchased our wines.

The tabac/presse was our last stop for a newspaper.

After lunch the sun was shining so we took a walk and stopped at the Carrefour City to buy crème liquide to make chocolate mousse aka mousse au chocolat for dessert.

Our next stop was at the Etonnants Voyageurs festival area to see where we will trade our free tickets for bracelets on Monday.

While walking around we saw a Luxembourg license plate in the parking lot.

The last stop was the harbor. All of the benches nearest the harbor were occupied so we shared a bench with another gentlemen just under the trees. The Corsaire ferries were coming and going and so was the cormorant.

We had the cordon bleu and crab croquettes for dinner.  The mousse au chocolat was lovely for dessert.
