During dinner on March 18 a funny little dialogue took place between Sandy and Phil.
First a little hint about what happened. Watch this great The Big Bang Theory segment of Sheldon and Penny dialogue on AFK and OIC at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLe7X5FTccc.
We were sitting down at about 8:00 (20:00) for dinner. Each day at 19:00 I record a French TV show called MONEY DROP. It is a simple quiz show. Contestants are given a question and four possible answers. They bet on the most likely answer. We watch MONEY DROP while eating. We pause the replay to look up the definition of a word or to discuss what a question is asking. So we use it as a learning tool to expand our vocabulary and pronunciation.
Last night one of the questions ended in the French word LEQUEL. It, lequel, translates to WHICH in English.
Here is our dialogue:
SANDY; What does that last word mean?
Phil: WHICH
SANDY; The last word in the question, what does it mean?
Phil: WHICH
SANDY; The last word, spelled L-E-Q-U-E-L.
Phil: WHICH
By this time I could sense Sandy was getting irritated with my response. So :
Phil: The last word, LEQUEL means WHICH.
SANDY: (just a grunt of disgust at my humor)
That is so funny! I can just see Sandy getting irritated with you. Caron would have smacked me the second time I said which. Reminded me of the “Sweet Potato Soup” episode in Wisconsin Dells. Maybe this was a little revenge for Phil.
For our younger audience members, I had to bring this back:

I don’t know if my link worked or not. Maybe you can insert it for me Phil. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face this morning.
