Lundi 6 octobre s’est avéré comme prévu. A 8 heures, quand je suis entré à la boulangerie pour acheter une baguette de pain pour le petit déjeuner, il y avait du vent et de commencer à pleuvoir. Je devais garder le pain sous mes bras pour rester au sec. Il faisait trop de vent à utiliser un parapluie. Il a plu et jusqu’à environ 15 heures. Puis le soleil est sorti et le vent était si fort que les rues étaient presque à sec. J’ai pris une courte promenade autour 16 heures mais j’ai oublié de mettre mes cache-oreilles. Il ya trop de vent pour être à l’aise sans eux. Au moins, les rues ont été soigneusement lavé.

Monday October 6 turned out as predicted.  At 8 am when I walked to the boulangerie to buy a baguette for breakfast it was windy and starting to rain.  I had to keep the bread underneath my arms to stay dry.  It was too windy to use an umbrella.  It rained off and on until about 3 pm.  Then the sun came out and the wind was so strong the streets were almost dry.  I took a short walk around 4 pm but forgot to wear my ear muffs.  It is too windy to be comfortable without them.  At least the streets have been thoroughly washed.
