Mercredi 17 septembre, nous avons eu de blanchisserie et un peu de shopping à faire. Il était aussi très chaleureux et nous sommes allés à la plage dans l’après-midi. Cette fois, nous sommes allés à la plage non-fumeur au pied du château. C’était marée haute, mais le coefficient était d’environ 40 semblait-il, par la quantité de sable sur la plage, comme la marée basse. Phil a dans la mesure où sa taille. Je ne pataugé jusqu’à mes mollets car il est très frais dans l’eau. Nous avons marché le long de la plage de nombreuses fois dans l’eau pour l’exercice avant de retourner à notre appartement. Quelle merveilleuse après-midi et pas gelée piqûres de poisson cette fois.

Wednesday September 17 we had laundry and a little shopping to do. It was also very warm and we went to the beach in the afternoon.  This time we went to the non smoking beach right at the foot of the Castle.  It was high tide but the coefficient was around 40 so it appeared, by the amount of sand on the beach, to be low tide.  Phil made it in as far as his waist.  I only waded up to my calves as it is quite cool in the water.  We walked up and down the beach many times in the water for exercise before returning to our apartment.  What a wonderful afternoon and no jelly fish stings this time.
