new painting – nouvelle peinture

Vendredi 22 Août a été très cool. La température élevée était de 63 F ou 17 C. Les gens se demandent si l’été est déjà terminée. Il n’y avait que 2 jours chauds et une très chaude journée cet été. Par une chaude journée a eu lieu en Juin quand nous avons visité Quimper et les deux autres jours, a lieu 16 Juillet et 17 Nous sommes même demandions si nous aurons besoin de la chaleur avant de nous quitter. Aujourd’hui était le jour pour des voyages en autobus. Dans les 3 heures, nous avions été sur 5 bus différents. Nous étions à la recherche d’un magasin qui vendait des cadres. Il a été par la Cora Supermarché et nous n’avions pas été dans cette région. Nous avons pris un bus de portes intra-muros de la gare, de la gare au magasin Cora, à partir du magasin Cora à un arrêt de bus près de Saint-Servan, et un autre dans Saint-Servan. Nous avons acheté de la viande au marché de la viande de Saint-Servan et à la sortie du bâtiment vu un bus pour les portes intra-muros dans la rue. Nous avons couru pour l’attraper et le pilote a eu la gentillesse de nous attendre à bord de l’autobus. Nous avons trouvé la mémoire de trame, discuté choix et des prix avec le propriétaire et j’ai pensé que la sélection et les prix étaient raisonnables. Demain, nous reviendrons avec les images que nous voulons encadrée maintenant que nous savons comment se rendre à la boutique.

Friday August 22 was very cool.  The high temperature was 63 F or 17 C.  People are wondering if summer is already over.  There were only 2 hot days and 1 really warm day this summer.  One hot day occurred in June when we visited Quimper and the other two days occurred July 16 and 17.  We are even wondering if we will need the heat before we leave.  Today was the day for bus trips.  Within 3 hours we had been on 5 different buses.  We were looking for a store that sold picture frames.  It was by the Cora Supermarket and we hadn’t been to that area.  We took a bus from the intramural gates to the train station, from the train station to the Cora store, from the Cora store to a bus stop near St. Servan, and another into St. Servan.  We bought meat at the St. Servan meat market and when exiting the building saw a bus back to the intramural gates across the street.  We ran to catch it and the driver was kind enough to wait for us to board the bus.  We found the frame store, discussed choices and prices with the owner and thought the selection and prices were reasonable. Tomorrow we’ll return with the pictures we want framed now that we know how to get to the store.
