Wednesday August 20 was hair cut day. The temperature overnight was 9 C or 49 F. Quite chilly even with the sun shining brightly. Our hair cuts were fine. Phil asked the stylist cutting my hair to not cut the sides too short. So far it looks fine. We booked our hotel room for the night before we return to the USA. It sad to think in two months it will be time to leave. We saw a new license plate in the parking lot today. The car was from Romania!
Phil actually told the stylist how to cut your hair and you didn’t veto him? We could never do that. I don’t like Caron’s haircuts and she doesn’t like most of mine. We have very little compromise on this subject. It is good that you trust each other this much.
I have translation and dictionary apps on my iphone but don’t always get the pronunciation correct even when I listen to the app. Phil likes my hair very short. I like it longer than he does but still short. If it’s too short, it will make me cry when I look in the mirror. He doesn’t like to see me cry, so it’s a compromise for both of us. I have to trust quite a few people here and I’m not usually good on trust. All part of my learning the French culture.
