Vendredi 25 Juillet a été une journée passionnante! Nous avons découvert nos voisins du 4e étage arriveront aujourd’hui de Paris. Ils sont de très bons amis et nous avons toujours aimé être avec eux et apprendre de Saint-Malo à partir de leurs expériences. J’ai acheté des fruits et légumes de la marche intra-muros dans le matin afin que je puisse essayer de faire un crumble aux fruits plus tard dans la journée. J’ai utilisé des framboises rouges et de pêches jaunes. Elle avait un goût délicieux! J’ai dû traduire les instructions sur deux sites différents avant de me sentir en confiance pour faire cuire, mais cela a fonctionné! Plus tard dans la journée nous avons pris un bus à Paramé à regarder leur art Marché du vendredi. Nous avons acheté un tableau qui montre la vue quand on regarde le bassin Vauban. Très jolie.

Friday July 25 was an exciting day!  We found out our 4th floor neighbors will arrive today from Paris.  They are very good friends and we have always enjoyed being with them and learning about Saint-Malo from their experiences. I bought fruit and vegetables from the intramural marche  in the morning so I could try making a fruit crumble later in the day.  I used red raspberries and yellow peaches.  It tasted delicious!  I had to translate the directions on two different web sites before I felt confident to bake, but it worked!  Later in the day we took a bus to Parame to look at their Art Friday Market. We bought a painting that shows the view when we look at the Vauban Basin. Very pretty.
