Nous avons assisté à une présentation composée de 400 diapositives de Saint-Malo à la Libération de Août 1944. Sur le chemin du retour nous avons marché à côté de la mer pour admirer la marée haute. Quand une vague lavé dans, il a atterri droit dans la chaussure de Phil! La «marée haute» avait été relativement faible ces derniers jours avec un coefficient de l’ordre de 60-70 mètres. Cela a commencé à changer hier. Le dimanche soir, le coefficient est à environ 105 mètres. Toute une différence.

We attended a presentation consisting of 400 slides of Saint-Malo during the Liberation of August 1944.  On the way home we walked next to the sea to admire the high tide.  When a wave washed in, it landed right in Phil’s shoe!  The “high tide” had been fairly low the last few days with a coefficient in the 60-70 meter range.  That began to change yesterday.  By Sunday night, the coefficient is to be around 105 meters.  Quite a difference.
