Ce matin, nous avons pris une promenade sur la digue, regardait le Condor Ferry quitter et un cargo entrer dans l’écluse. Très peu de gens étaient sur ​​la plage et dans l’eau. Une tempête avec la foudre, le tonnerre et la pluie (de l’ouest qui descend vers les bâtiments) a commencé au moment où le Tour de France a pris fin à Londres pour la journée. Nous n’avons pas connu une telle forte tempête à tout moment en France. Au moins, les rues sont parfaitement propres!

This morning we took a walk out to the breakwater, watched the Condor Ferry leave and a cargo ship enter the lock. Quite a few people were on the beach and in the water.  A storm with lightening, thunder and heavy rain (from the west coming down towards buildings) started about the time the Tour de France ended in London for the day. We haven’t experienced such a strong storm anytime in France. At least the streets are thoroughly clean!
